The Brookeville Beer Farm Road Dust Brown Ale

We start off in the mash with a blend of English Pale, Crystal 20L, Victory, and Biscuit malts. We also introduce a small amount of Roasted Barley for the added coloration, and that hint of roast on the nutty flavor coming from the Victory, Biscuit, and English Pale malts. After an hour's long mash, we then pipe the wort over to the kettle for boiling, where we bitter with Magnum hops, and finish with East Kent Golding hops. We then ferment using a common American strain of yeast that ferments without producing butterscotch and popcorn-like flavors, to allow for the rich, roasted peanut-y flavor to shine through.
